Church Elders & Ministry Leaders

mark_rhondaPastor Mark & Rhonda have had the pleasure & privilege of serving Living Word Church in Lviv, Ukraine, for 10 years. Pastor Mark is the main preaching pastor, works with the team of church leaders, and leads a men’s discipleship group. Rhonda supports Mark as he pastors the church, leads the women’s ministry, and organizes special church family events (such as picnics, the church’s anniversary celebrations, talent shows, etc.).



Victor_BezuglyVictor Bezugly has served as a church deacon & leader since the beginning of Living Word Church. He served for many years as the financial overseer, and currently faithfully serves in many different areas, including setting up the Sunday morning hospitality coffee & cookies and teaching a home group. He & his wife, Natasha, have two sons.



Vasily_ChaplaevVasil Chaplaev has served as a church deacon & leader since the beginning of the church. He shares some of the preaching responsibilities and also teaches children’s Sunday School. Vasya and his wife, Larissa, are both certified Christian counselors. They have a son and a daughter.



Dima-HashchukDima Hashchuk has served as a church deacon & leader for a number of years. He is the director of our widow’s ministry and has served as a home group leader. He is a successful businessman with his own furniture business. He married his wife, Olena, in 2014.  His mother, Hanna, is a faithful prayer warrior of the church, and his sister-in-law and niece are also members of Living Word Church.



briaBria Blessing, Mark & Rhonda’s oldest daughter, serves as the music director, organizing the worship teams, overseeing the translation of new songs for the church, and serving as a worship leader.  Bria has released two recordings, which can be found on the internet. She is founder of Lviv Abolitionists, a charitable group fighting human trafficking through education and awareness. Bria is also a contestant on The Voice/Ukraine, Season 4, 2014.
