11-6-10 Construction Update

Throughout the past few weeks, despite things being a little crazy in our family’s visa situation (which is now resolved, praise the Lord!), construction has been progressing.  Here is some of what has been happening:

The windowsills finally got worked out and were installed!

Victor did the plastering in all the windows once the sills were in.

The back fence was put in

The pantry walls and ceiling were completed.

Workers installed the central heating unit in the pantry.

...and the heat was turned on. The workers were grateful to be able to shed some layers and work comfortably now!

Framing was put up in the main living room...

...and drywall, too.

The electrician put in some more wiring.

The dining room was drywalled

Even the bay window was drywalled.

Lots of drywall was put up!

Sub-flooring was put down in the master bedroom

The first coat of paint went on the first ceiling

Stuccoing has continued outside

We are expecting to see a lot more exciting progress happening next week.  Thank you for your continued prayers and faithful support!
